Methane Digester Project
This project began 2006, in conjunction with Powerbase. The project will involve demonstrating a
modular, factory-built, containerized combined heat and power system and anaerobic digester. This modular energy system can potentially reduce the capital,
installation and commissioning costs of anaerobic digester systems.
ORGANIC RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INC., Woodbridge, ON, will supply a minimum of 5,000 m3 per year of organic residuals (20 yr contract) and
pay a processing fee that will be adjusted downward based on the actual performance of biogas renewable energy produced from the material; Four farms are involved with
this contract: Klaesi Bros Farm, Ledgecroft Farms, Donnandale Farms, Clearydale Farms.
